This shows the painting as it currently is, on a whole sheet of paper 76 x 57cm - the work can be mounted with a window mount/mat or float mounted in a box frame. Like all full sheets of 100% cotton Arches paper, the edges are deckled which gives the paper a beautiful edge.

This is an exploration of blues within the portal series to create a harmonious compositon where there is a sense of endless harmony, and light shining through: the work is flat on paper, but has a 3D feeling about it.
I call these circular paintings my 'portal paintings' as I see them as a doorways to transcend the every day, taking us to another place, another realm - a place where we take time to stop and reflect, to decide how we want to feel... it's like the painting becomes our emotional vision board and the bands of colour represent good feeling emotions, and we get to decide what those emotions are.... love, joy, inner peace, harmony, flow, alignment, inspiration, excitement… Thus giving focus and attention to the sort of energy and feelings we want to experience more of in our lives.
