Lisa Sharpe has always experienced the world through colour: not simply as pigment, but as energy and emotional language.

That awareness became her life’s work: portal paintings, created to bring more love, joy and good energy into the spaces where people live.

Her work draws on the Law of Vibration, colour theory and emotional awareness, alongside a deep knowing that love is the most powerful creative force we have.

By the age of 25, Lisa was an award-winning silk shoe designer, creating bespoke designs for British and European royalty, celebrities, fashion designers and couture houses, with commissions for Stella Artois and Tatler magazine.

She went on to spend over 20 years as an art consultant and dealer, helping people find art they truly love, before devoting herself to creating it.

In her studio by the River Test, surrounded by crystals, incense, flower essences and a 528 Hz tuning fork, Lisa works slowly and intentionally, building each painting layer by layer in high-frequency pure pigment paints.

Colour becomes emotion. Emotion becomes energy. Energy becomes a portal.

Every brushstroke carries an intention: love, peace, clarity, joy or strength. These intentions live within the artwork and radiate out into the home.

In 2022 and again in 2023, Lisa created Britain’s first moving public art installation dedicated to mental wellness.

A fleet of 25 iconic London Routemaster buses became travelling artworks, carrying colourful, uplifting messages through the city and reaching millions of people throughout the summer.

Featured on the BBC News, A Billion Hugs went on to be named co-winner of the Maven Creative Award in 2024, and made the front page of the Hampshire Chronicle.

Throughout her career, Lisa has loved using art to bring people together and support causes close to her heart. Over the years, she has sat on art panels and committees, and supported a wide range of charities through her work.

One standout moment was donating her portal painting Optimism to a very special evening at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, raising funds to support the National Academy of Arts, Ukraine. Painted to be rich in colour, strong and shining brightly with hope, Optimism went well over its estimate, raising £5,000 on the night.

In 2016, Lisa collaborated with Swiss gemmologist and jewellery designer Doris Hangartner on Gem Art Fusion: pairing a painting with its resonating gemstone, so that stone and colour create one profound visual and sensory experience.

More recently, she co-created an exclusive collection of Feng Shui fine art prints for John Lewis with Feng Shui expert Kimberley Gallagher.
