Optimism

I wanted Optimism to be rich in colour: to be strong, to shine brightly – to be full of hope and then by total synchronisity, this painting was chosen to be featured in the charity auction organised by the Natalia Cola Foundation to raise funds for The National Academy of Arts, Ukraine which was held at the Royal Academy of Arts in January 2023. The painting went well over its estimated and raised £5,000 on the night.
